That’s very exciting but we soon got bored there. And so we’ve broke free! For the first time ever Burst will now be playing out in cafes across Bristol. So next time you’re in the refectory or the hawthorns listen out and you’ll probably hear a familiar voice. In fact you’ll barely be able to eat a sandwich without hearing the dulcet tones of our Olly Murs jingle.

And if that wasn’t enough our beautiful DJs will be there to greet you every time you log onto mybristol.com. What can we say? We miss you when we’re apart! Now there is no excuse to miss your favourite burst shows!

This is a huge achievement and an amazing testament to the standard of radio that burst has been producing this year. So if you’re involved in the station you should be exceedingly proud of yourself and remember next time you’re on air – now everyone is listening.

Your student station just became Bristol’s station.
