I’m writing this as my coach speeds down the M4 on the way to London, and mobile data is intermittent (first world problem omg), so a quick one from me pals! We had our last show today, and it was pretty emosh. Had an extra hour on while Chloe made her way in as well, so managed to play a whole load of songs which will help you through your revision as well as keep you awake. We broke the news of the royal baby, talked about the election, PPI calls, Tom Fletcher, Jessie J, Eurovision and the best bits of our show from the last four months.
As ever, you can listen ad infinitum using the MixCloud player below; the swanky new player even shows which song is playing – to see the full tracklist, click through to the show’s page
I’m next on the airwaves (and across the precinct) on 19th and 20th June when Burst Radio will be broadcasting live from the UoB Open Days; come and catch the new committee at the Welcome Fair at the end of September as well!
Watch this space for info on which slots we land next year (I’m eyeing a night-time new music show…) and a MASSIVE thank you to Dan and Faye, our PCs, who have kept us going every step of the way (from me in particular, they’ve been a shining light since my first show in October!), and to all of you for listening and supporting us the whole way. You guys rock!
Best of luck with revision and exams, and watch out for the amazing Burst plans Faye and I have got in store for 2015-16!
Much love, Kim x
